    A wander and a slog. Aching by the end but the pace was right and the hill challenges had been testing in a good way. Too grey for Tamaki Drive to be in it's usual beautiful form. Several map- and gasp-stops though - definitely felt dehydrated for the last 6km but no water fountains or shops were convenient until so-close-might-as-well-press-on distance from home. Right knee is creaky and sore, which is worrying
