    Planned 32km but was empty by 26km so hung on till 30 then walked the rest. Not enough carbs, not enough of the right mental state, maybe a little too much pace (5:10-5-15/km more my métier). Per Rotorua marathon I had a glucose gel at 20km but don't feel it helped today - but since I drank a whole Powerade in one continuous gulp once back at the car, dehydration may have been a factor too! Lack of 3 days of pasta as well... Neither disappointed nor delightedvwith this run
