This Triangle To Te Atutu Then Titirangi Tested Then Thrilled. Exploratory runs are good but benefit from better pre-research: this was far less flat than naively hoped and the half-marathon point was a severe and surprising uphill. Dawdled a bit (Waikumete cemetery, progress selfies, two purchases of isotonic drinks, lots of map checks) but pleased with this morning’s work, especially the last few kms - probably the fast post-30km pace I’ve run outside a race context

Notable (as of the date of this run)

    • was most negative km splits in a month
    • was most negative mile splits in a month
